MOVOMER® Polyamide 66, generally known as Nylon 66, is a kind of highly-crystalline straight-chain polycondensation polymer, where the repeating units are held together by amide group (-CONH-). Its features include high tensile strength, abrasion resistance, impact resistance, and unaffected by oils, solvents and chemicals, as well as low coefficient of friction and self-lubricating properties.
Nylon 66 can be produced to products via direct injection. In addition, its mechanical properties can be improved by compounding with other materials.
